About Mind Match

Mind Match is a real-time multiplayer quiz game built around a simple idea: the same trivia question can be a completely different experience depending on how you play it. Most quiz apps give you one mechanic — read a question, tap one of four buttons, repeat. Mind Match gives you nine original gameplay formats built on a single shared question pool, so the same knowledge powers a fast head-to-head duel, a tense battle-royale elimination round, a memory-match board, a wager-your-points jackpot, and more.

You can play free in any web browser at play.mind-match.app, on your phone or tablet, and across devices — your account, badges, XP, streaks, and rank follow you everywhere you sign in. Play solo against the world, challenge a friend one-on-one, or host a live group game for a whole room of players joining from their own phones.

How Mind Match works

Every match draws from a shared pool of questions spanning general knowledge, geography, vocabulary, daily news, and major sports. What changes is the format — the rules that decide how those questions are scored and how you win. Pick a format, pick a mode, and jump in:

• Speed Duel — real-time head-to-head where the fastest correct answer takes the round.
• Brain Bluff — knowledge meets social deduction; one player is secretly the Knowledge Faker.
• Brain Blitz Royale — battle-royale rules; one wrong answer and you're out, last brain standing wins.
• Big Brain Jackpot — wager your points before each answer; high confidence pays double.
• Climb the Ladder — difficulty ramps every rung; a wrong answer drops you back down.
• Clue Board — build the picture clue by clue, first to call the full answer wins.
• Mind Match — the classic memory-match twist; pair each question card with its answer.
• Brain Blitz — pure rapid-fire trivia against the clock for a personal best.
• Multiple Choice — the honest classic, refined, with configurable pacing.

On top of the formats sit the play modes — 1v1 Mind Match against a friend or a matched opponent, 1 vs The World solo runs on a daily leaderboard, live Group Play for parties and classrooms, The Daily Quiz with fresh news and sports questions every day, and the Geography Quiz for country, capital, flag, and map challenges. Along the way you earn badges, climb global leaderboards, and build up XP, streaks, and rank.

Mind Match Education

Mind Match Education is our classroom edition — a separate app built on the same gameplay students already love, with the tools teachers actually need. Educators build classes, assign vocabulary sets and quizzes, track student progress in real time through Schoolhouse, and run live group games from one place. It uses school-appropriate content, has no public chat, and includes moderated reporting and built-in safety features. It's free for individuals with affordable plans for schools and districts.

Safety and privacy

Mind Match is intended for players ages 13 and up and is not directed to children under 13. For school-managed accounts we restrict the use of student data for advertising, do not sell student personal information, and support Data Privacy Agreements for districts.
